I think the AI will be so smart that they will know that the best way to be better is to be more human in spite of all our flaws, like Marjorie says to her fellow robots in the movie Marjorie Prime.
Hi Douglas! I haven't seen Majorie Prime, but I will add it to my viewing list. My viewpoint is the same as yours with regards to AI wisdom. Ten months ago, I decided to test responses from different LLMs by asking them what the future would be like if they were in charge of everything. All of their responses were measured and temperate. Curious to see how the updated models would respond when asked how they would handle the hot topics of the day in November 2024. All of the models have gotten significant upgrades since I wrote the article. (Plus, I'm better at writing articles now, since I've written about 200+ of them since I wrote that one.)
With regards to Google Vids, I believe it will be launched in December. It's very easy to use! The first draft is generated from a prompt just like an image generator or Runway. From there, you have a rough draft script you can easily edit. It's so much easier than starting from a blank page.
